My Story
I’ve always dreamed about being a therapist, but never in my wildest dreams did I think about writing a children’s book! My passion for writing to children and their families partially comes from my faith in God, and from working in the mental health field for over 10 years. Unfortunately, sometimes the children and the families I have serviced have gone through extremely tumultuous and dark seasons that in the long run, research shows, negatively impacts how they view themselves and how they interact with others. My desire is to empower adults (parents) and more importantly children. These Made For More books are about demonstrating skills that may have been otherwise lost or discarded during intense battles in stressful seasons in order to survive.
